No man left behind!

I serve as a layman sharing his heart and experience in Christ from a Catholic vantage point.

We have a call, you have a call, a calI to bring life to the world in which you live.  Jesus said, “I have come to bring you life to the full”, and he has commissioned us to bring that life to the world.

I have good news-God is constantly seeking us, constantly calling us, constantly blessing us because he loves us. We have that as an advantage to start with our calling. So, what are we going to do about this? You have a decision, a choice to make, choose now today who you will serve-God or man. We must practice this every day in the choices and decisions we make. And we are not men who cower in fear and shrink away, but those who step forward. All of us need to do this whatever our station in life is because we are constantly growing in Christ
We are calling each other to become in Christ what he is wants us each to be. His spirit is constantly pricking our conscience, reminding, encouraging, calling us to step forward and be a man of God.  

 Every day we must intentionally choose the goal of heaven, with our prayers and actions. Be on your guard my brothers lest you fall short of the goal by living an “accidental life”. You must pursue this higher calling with all your mind, soul and will, with each breath you take. God knows we are burdened with struggles and temptation and has promised to help us. The Holy Spirit is with us, and we must call on him for strength for the journey.  As it says in Hebrews 12, we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses who can be helpers/encouragers for the journey. Accept the invitation that God has given us to be with him from this moment. He is calling us to respond. He is calling us to call others

Prayer of commitment: Lord Jesus Christ I want to belong to you, want to know you and be faithful. Renew the action of your Holy Spirit in my heart, strengthen me for the journey you are calling me to. I say yes to you, to the invitation you have called me to. Transform me into your image and likeness. I want to know you; to love you and serve you with the strength your spirit will give me. I will answer the call.
